Academia, killer mustaches & free parking

Today we visited the UNH Chase Ocean Engineering Lab, having been introduced by our friend Ben Brickett to the faculty there. Wholly impressive facility and holy domain expertise. Professors Ken Baldwin (mustache for the ages!), Erin Bell and Martin Wosnik held court: smart, attentive, and that certain combination of thoughtfulness, dourness and can-do-ness that I well remember from growing up in an academic engineering family.
